Why Unapologetic?
In the midst of a valley, Kendall searched for Christian content that would give her hope. She was looking for authentic words, written from experience to help her navigate her own darkness, but her attempts often left her empty handed and frustrated.
Out of this season, Kendall began writing about her own journey as a form of creative therapy, and hoped that one day it would be able to help others.
I was desperate to hear someone else say, 'ME TOO'
WHEN I CONFESSED MY PROBLEMS WITH ANXIETY.
Over a 6 month period, Kendall wrote, sketched, listened, and studied to prepare for the launch of her ministry. However, as the weight of her call grew and nudges from the Holy Spirit became more frequent, Kendall knew it was time to share it with the world. She struggled with feeling unworthy, unqualified, and unfit for leading a ministry such as this.
After releasing her first piece on anxiety and receiving an overwhelming positive response, Kendall slowly let go of feeling unqualified and shifted to feeling unapologetic.
